A world where every organization, regardless of size, has access to reliable, trustworthy, always-on digital employees who work alongside their human counterparts — without replacing what makes human judgment irreplaceable.
Today, talent is expensive, inconsistent, and finite. The best receptionist in the world still has limits: she sleeps, she leaves, she has bad days. The smallest law firm in America deserves the same front-desk reliability as the largest. The accounting practice in rural Ohio should not have to choose between affordable staff and excellent client service.
Sorush exists to close that gap. Not with automation that strips out the human element, but with augmentation that elevates it — freeing attorneys to practice law, not answer phones at 11 PM.
"We are not building chatbots. We are building employees."
Agentic Employee, Inc. — Company Mission
In the same way cloud computing became invisible, reliable infrastructure — assumed, not noticed — we intend to make trusted digital employees a standard part of how businesses operate. Not a luxury. Not a novelty. The default.
Sorush agents grow smarter with every interaction. They build profiles, remember preferences, and accumulate institutional knowledge over time — exactly the way a great hire does in their first year. The longer you work with Sorush, the more irreplaceable it becomes.
Every Sorush agent lives inside your cloud environment. Your data never leaves your control. Background-checked, SOC 2 certified, VPC-native — we built security as the foundation, not a feature added later to meet a checkbox.
We are here to eliminate the work humans should not have to do — the repetitive, the after-hours, the administrative burden that consumes the time of brilliant people who should be practicing law, not answering phones at 11 PM.
Our long-term vision is not a product — it is a category. A world where every org chart has both human and digital employees, managed through the same systems, held to the same standards, and trusted with the same client relationships because they have earned it.
Names carry weight. The best brand names don't describe — they resonate. They hold history inside them, and when you learn the history, the name becomes impossible to forget.
Sorush comes from Sraosha — one of the most important divine figures in Zoroastrianism, the ancient Persian faith that predates Christianity, Islam, and modern civilization's oldest recorded moral philosophies. The word is Avestan in origin, derived from the root meaning "to hear." But its meaning runs far deeper than listening.
Sraosha was not merely a messenger. He was the medium between the human and the divine — an entity so essential that Zoroastrians held no ritual to be valid without his presence. He was the guarantee that your words were heard, your instructions followed, your affairs handled faithfully.
He never rested. Ancient texts describe him descending to earth three times each night to guard those who slept. When souls crossed the Bridge of Judgment in the Zoroastrian afterlife, only Sraosha accompanied the soul on the crossing itself. He never left your side.
The modern Persian form of the name — Sorush — survived centuries, across empires and faiths, entering Persianate Islamic tradition as an angel identified with the divine messenger. For 3,000 years, this name has meant the same thing: the trusted one who carries your word faithfully, and never abandons their post.
We named our product Sorush because it is not a chatbot. It is a digital employee — trained on your data, certified to your standards, faithful to your voice, and present every hour you are not.
The name is ancient. The technology is new. The promise is the same.
Agentic Employee, Inc. is a technology company headquartered in the United States, building the definitive platform for digital employees in professional services. We are a team of operators, engineers, and sales professionals who have spent careers inside law firms, enterprise software, and AI infrastructure.
We started with law firm receptionists because the pain is acute, the trust bar is high, and the stakes are real. But the platform we are building does not stop at the front desk — it scales to every role that involves structured communication, institutional knowledge, and the need to be present when humans cannot be.
Our product, Sorush, is currently in design partner development with select law firms ahead of a Q3 2026 pilot launch and Q4 2026 general availability.
If you believe the future of work is hybrid — human and digital employees working alongside each other — and you want to build the infrastructure that makes that world possible, we want to hear from you.
We are currently a small team moving fast. We value intellectual honesty, high craft, and a genuine belief that AI should augment human work, not dehumanize it.
